Credit Rating Agency of Bangladesh Limited (CRAB) deeply mourns the passing away of Syed Manzur Elahi. Founding Director & Current Chairman of CRAB. A prominent entrepreneur, eminent industrialist, and philanthropist.
He breathed his last in Singapore this morning at the age of 83, around 7:30 AM (Bangladesh Time). Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un.
A pioneer in Bangladesh’s business sector. He played a pivotal role in shaping the country’s corporate landscape with his leadership, integrity, and unwavering dedication. Besides being an eminent industrialist, he was also appointed Adviser to the Caretaker Government of Bangladesh in 1996 & 2001, for his leadership qualities, professionalism and non-partisanship.
CRAB family extends its heartfelt condolences to his bereaved family, friends and well-wishers during this difficult time. His legacy will continue to inspire generations to come.
